1. Introduction
Sargo is a product of Clura S.r.l.s. (“we”, “us”, “our”), which builds property management software for rental agencies and landlords and operates sargo.dev. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and how you can use your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, in Dutch: AVG).

- VAT number (P.IVA): 18314321003

For questions about your data, email info@sargo.dev.
2. Information we collect
- Demo bookings: the name, email address and appointment details you enter in the embedded Google Calendar booking page. Google handles the scheduling and confirmation.
- Contact messages: your name, email address, company, job title, phone number (optional), units under management, country, message, and contact consent. An optional marketing preference is included with your enquiry.
- Technical data: when you visit the website, the hosting service processes data needed to deliver and secure the pages, such as your IP address and browser type.
- Your choices on this device: your cookie choice and language choice (see our Cookie Policy).
We do not use analytics, advertising or social-media tracking.
3. How we use your information
- To schedule the demo you requested and answer your messages.
- To provide the Sargo app to customers who sign an agreement with us.
- To send you news about Sargo, only if you asked for it. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To keep the website and the app secure.
- To meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it to train AI models.
4. Legal basis
- Your request or our contract (art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): handling a demo request and providing the service.
- Consent (art. 6(1)(a)): marketing communications. You can withdraw it at any time.
- Legitimate interests (art. 6(1)(f)): security and answering messages.
- Legal obligation (art. 6(1)(c)): records the law requires us to keep.
5. Sharing your information
We only share personal data with service providers that help us run Sargo (such as hosting and email), under a data processing agreement as required by Article 28 GDPR. We choose providers that keep data in the European Economic Area or protect transfers with the safeguards the GDPR requires. We may also disclose data when the law requires it.
6. Security
We protect personal data with appropriate technical and organisational measures (Article 32 GDPR), such as encryption in transit, limited access and role-based permissions in the app.
7. Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for, or as long as the law requires. We plan to keep demo requests for up to 12 months after the last contact, unless you become a customer, and contact messages for up to 90 days after your question is answered. After that we delete or anonymise the data.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. Email info@sargo.dev; we answer within one month.
9. The Sargo app
Rental agencies and landlords use the Sargo app to manage their homes, tenants and repairs. For that data, the agency or landlord decides how it is used (controller) and Sargo processes it on their behalf (processor). Tenants, owners and contractors can exercise their rights with their agency or landlord. Messages from the app’s assistant always say that they come from an automated assistant, and decisions about responsibility and costs are approved by a person.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The latest version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated.
11. Contact and complaints
Email info@sargo.dev with any question about your data. You can also complain to the data protection authority of the EU country where you live or work; in the Netherlands this is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
