Who handles your information

Sargo, the operator of sargo.dev, handles these forms. Contact info@sargo.dev for privacy questions. The operator’s full legal name and postal address must be added before collection is enabled.

Waitlist and your referral details

Landlords who join the waitlist provide their name, email, optional phone number, unit-count range and whether their properties are only in the Netherlands or also abroad. With their consent, Sargo uses these details only to contact them about its property management software. These records are stored with other waitlist submissions under the proposed 12-month limit.

With your consent, we use only your email for waitlist updates, or your name, email and optional phone number to administer your referral and contact you about the €20 reward if your landlord signs up. We do not use this consent for unrelated marketing. You can withdraw at any time by emailing us; withdrawal does not affect processing already lawfully performed.

Landlord information

A tenant may supply a landlord’s name, email and/or phone number, and the apartment’s city. Only submit these after the landlord agrees to sharing them with Sargo for this referral. A tenant’s confirmation is not proof of the landlord’s consent: referrals remain pending permission verification and are not automatically contacted. The landlord must receive privacy information explaining the source, purpose, legal basis and rights within the applicable legal deadline and no later than first contact.

Confidentiality

Referrals are not anonymous to Sargo. We do not routinely disclose referrer identities to landlords, but legal obligations and individual rights may require disclosure. Access is limited to authorized people and service providers.

Providers and international processing

If you use the contact form, with your consent we process your email and message to answer your enquiry, not for marketing. Resend forwards it to info@sargo.dev; its sending domain is send.sargo.dev. Contact messages are not added to our Supabase submissions tables. You can withdraw consent at info@sargo.dev. Before launch, Sargo must document Resend and mailbox-provider contracts, transfer safeguards, email/log retention and deletion. We propose deleting resolved enquiries within 90 days, except where continued correspondence or legal obligations require a documented longer period.

Vercel hosts the website and submission endpoint; Supabase stores the submissions. Hosting services may process technical request information such as IP addresses and security logs. Before launch, Sargo must confirm provider contracts, processing locations, international-transfer safeguards and applicable log retention, and publish those details here. Retention

The proposed limits are 12 months for waitlist information and 90 days for uncompleted referrals. Sargo must approve these periods and implement deletion before launch. Withdrawn consent and deletion requests are handled sooner where applicable. Reward or legally required accounting records need a separately documented purpose and retention period.

Your rights

Email info@sargo.dev to request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability where applicable, or to withdraw consent. You may object to processing where applicable and complain to your local data protection authority. We respond within the applicable GDPR deadline, normally one month, and may need proportionate identity verification. We do not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects through these forms.

Cookies and external resources

The application adds no analytics, advertising cookies or browser-storage submission records. City suggestions are local; what you type is not sent to a geocoding provider. Fonts use installed system fallbacks rather than external font services. The optional Shrek clip on /shrek is hosted by YouTube and loads only if you choose to watch it. Provider-level cookies and logs must be reviewed before launch.

Your language preference is saved only on this device. Form answers are not saved in browser storage.
